Network Suicide Prevention UZH/ETH

The University of Zurich and ETH Zurich created the Network Suicide Prevention to support their members in dealing with people in suicidal crises or severe psychological stress situations. 

During studies, pressure to perform can trigger a serious crisis, leaving the affected person and their environment unable to deal with the situation on their own. A crisis can escalate to the point where suicidal thoughts or behaviour become imminent. Such a situation requires decisive intervention by the social environment.
